MECHANICAL   Click Here To Enter Our Photo Gallery      To enhance our machine shop and fabricating facilities to an even higher level of service, General Machine & Tool Inc. also offers mechanical assembly and repair.  We have a wide variety of presses ranging up to 1,000 tons in our wheel presses, 300 tons in our plate press, and up to 250 tons on our shaft straightening press.  Together with our millwrights and machinists  we are able to bring in a failed component,   disassemble it, replace or repair the damaged item and get it back in service as soon as possible. We can handle single items or complete units up to 20 tons in weight.   The ability of these added services allow us to oversee a project from start to finish, thus helping cut down on any lost time shipping the parts to several different places, and also assuring a better quality finished product as an end result.
